Founded in 2017, Belarmino’s goal is to introduce wine drinkers to the Atlantic-influenced wines of Galicia.
Vineyard
The grapes come from a forty-five year-old vineyard in Sober, planted at a density of 3,500 plants per hectare, on a mix of granite and slate soils. The grapes were harvested by hand in the first week of October.
Winery
Pre-fermentation, the grapes underwent a cold soak at 5ºC for eight days. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at 27ºC and the wine was bottled without the influence of oak.
