Producer
Umani Ronchi is a leading family estate in the Marche and Abruzzo regions, founded in 1957 and now run by the Bianchi-Bernetti family. Known for elevating native grape varieties, the estate has become a benchmark for Verdicchio and Montepulciano. Umani Ronchi champions sustainable viticulture, long-term vineyard development and precision winemaking across its coastal and hillside vineyards.
Vineyard
Casal di Serra is produced from Verdicchio vineyards in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi Classico zone, where hillside sites with clay-limestone soils deliver complexity and freshness. The vineyards benefit from the cooling influence of the nearby Adriatic Sea, providing ideal conditions for slow ripening. Verdicchio thrives here, developing vibrant acidity, aromatic lift and characteristic almond notes.
Winery
Hand-harvested grapes undergo soft pressing and cool fermentation in stainless steel. The wine rests on fine lees for several months to build texture and depth while preserving purity. The result is a Verdicchio of great finesse, combining freshness with elegant structure and mineral persistence.
