Producer
Trentangeli (“Thirty Angels”) is produced at the Bocca di Lupo estate in Castel del Monte. Tormaresca created this wine to explore a more international style while retaining the power and mineral character of Puglia’s volcanic uplands. It is a testament to Antinori’s ability to blend tradition with modern precision.
Vineyard
The vineyards sit on the limestone plateau of the Alta Murgia at around 300 metres elevation. The soils contain fractured limestone, volcanic components and iron-rich clay, resulting in wines with depth, minerality and structure. Aglianico contributes backbone, Cabernet adds dark fruit and Syrah brings aromatics and spice.
Winery
Each variety is vinified separately to preserve its character before blending. Ageing takes place partly in oak barriques and partly in larger casks to balance richness with freshness. The final wine is polished, structured and expressive, with long ageing potential.
