Pietrabianca is one of Tormaresca’s most celebrated white wines, produced at the Bocca di Lupo estate and certified organic. It reflects the Antinori family’s dedication to expressing Puglia’s high-altitude, mineral-rich terroir through meticulous viticulture and thoughtful blending of native and international varieties.
Vineyard
Grapes come from the Alta Murgia plateau, where Chardonnay and Fiano thrive in limestone soils reminiscent of Burgundy and Campania. The cool nights and breezy conditions slow ripening and allow for exceptional aromatic development. Organic farming practices enhance soil vitality, biodiversity and fruit purity.
Winery
Chardonnay is fermented and aged partly in French oak barriques for texture and complexity, while Fiano is vinified in stainless steel to retain freshness. A portion of the wine ages on fine lees to increase depth and roundness. The final blend balances richness with tension, resulting in a white of exceptional elegance.
