Tormaresca’s Neprica line (NEgroamaro–PRImitivo–CAbernet) is designed to highlight the expressiveness of Puglia’s native varieties in an approachable and modern style. Owned by the Antinori family, Tormaresca combines local tradition with advanced viticulture to create wines that are vibrant, generous and distinctly Mediterranean.
Vineyard
Negroamaro grapes are sourced mainly from the Masseria Maìme estate in Salento, where sandy soils and maritime breezes help create wines with freshness and purity. The coastal influence moderates the region’s warm climate, allowing grapes to ripen fully without losing acidity. Low-yielding vines deliver concentrated fruit with supple structure.
Winery
Grapes are fermented in stainless steel to preserve fruit brightness, followed by brief ageing in neutral vessels to maintain the wine’s juicy, forward style. The resulting wine is balanced, smooth and perfectly suited to everyday Italian cuisine.
