Producer
Part of the Antinori family portfolio, Pian delle Vigne produces Rosso di Montalcino with the same meticulous care as its Brunello. The estate aims to highlight the freshness and immediate charm of Sangiovese through refined winemaking and careful vineyard selection.
Vineyard
Fruit for the Rosso comes from younger and more vigorous vineyard parcels with sandy-clay soils that encourage aromatic lift and freshness. Lower altitude sites capture warmth, ensuring ripe, generous fruit while maintaining balance.
Winery
Fermentation occurs in stainless steel to preserve bright fruit character. Ageing is shorter than for Brunello, using a mix of large casks and neutral vessels to maintain purity. The result is a polished, elegant Tuscan red with youthful vibrancy.
