: La Réserve de Léoville-Barton is the second wine of the legendary Château Léoville-Barton, a Second Growth estate renowned for classic, structured and long-lived Saint-Julien wines. The Barton family has owned the estate since 1826, maintaining a tradition of exceptional quality.
Vineyard
The vineyards sit on gravel-rich soils that provide excellent drainage and ideal growing conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Low yields, old vines and meticulous vineyard work ensure refined tannins and impressive concentration.
Winery
Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled wooden vats before ageing in French oak barrels, a portion of which are new. The second wine benefits from the same rigorous standards applied to the grand vin, resulting in elegance, precision and superb balance.
