The Boiron family, originated from the Ardèche region of France. They began with a fruit trading company, they expanded quickly and moved to Rungis market in Paris in 1969. Pierre Boiron, the founder’s son, started to make purees and soon became the world’s leading producer and for the proceeding 50 years their purees have been used by chefs worldwide.
