Producer

Allegory is a range of expressive varietal wines that showcases the elegance and vibrancy typical of Western Australia. They are made by Howard Park, a family-owned winery founded in 1986, and one of the state’s best respected producers. Howard Park have a unique combined expertise in both the Margaret River and Great Southern regions, and by carefully blending selected parcels of fruit from each, they allow Allegory to capture the essence of Western Australia.

Vineyard

The majority of the Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Frankland River and Mount Barker regions of Western Australia, while most of the Semillon is Margaret River fruit. The vines are predominantly ten to fifteen years old, planted on gravelly loams over medium clays. They are routinely shoot thinned and green harvested. The grapes were picked at night to preserve freshness.

Winery

The juice was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with each parcel of fruit fermented seperately, before the final blend is assembled.
