You will need…

Equipment:

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Glass
  • Moka or coffee machine
  • Spoon

Ingredients:

  • Authentic Italian Roast Coffee Beans
  • Sugar or syrup (if desired)
  • Full-fat milk (if desired)
  • Ice

Now, let’s shake…

  1. Use your coffee machine or moka (if you’re feeling particularly Italian) to make a double espresso. Whilst it’s still hot, mix in sugar or a flavoured syrup, if desired. Leave the coffee to cool for a little while. Top tip: to save time in the morning, make your coffee the night before and leave in the fridge overnight to cool.
  2. Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, and pour the coffee into the shaker. Close the lid firmly, making sure no liquid can get out.
  3. Shake, shake, shake! Give the mixture a good shake for around 30 seconds.
  4. Remove the lid and strain your coffee mixture into a glass. If you’ve shaken the coffee enough, the glass should be topped with delicious foam.
  5. Add cold milk or ice to your coffee if desired, and enjoy!
