Producer
Calafuria is produced by Tormaresca, Antinori’s estate in Puglia, and showcases the region’s Mediterranean charm through a fresh, elegant rosé style. Tormaresca has been key in elevating Puglian wine quality, combining centuries-old regional tradition with modern winemaking techniques.
Vineyard
Grapes come primarily from vineyards around Masseria Maìme in Salento, where the vines sit just a few kilometres from the Adriatic Sea. Sandy soils enriched with limestone encourage aromatic purity and lightness. The maritime influence moderates temperatures and enhances acidity, essential for producing a crisp, aromatic rosé.
Winery
Negroamaro grapes are harvested early to retain freshness, followed by gentle pressing and cold fermentation. Stainless-steel maturation preserves the wine’s delicate fruit and floral aromatics, resulting in a bright, refreshing rosé that captures Salento’s coastal spirit.
