Producer
TerraVentoux is a specialist producer of Ventoux, formed in 2003 when two longstanding co-operatives merged. From their 600 hectares of vines, planted on silt, ochre and limestone soils in the shadow of the towering Mont Ventoux, they choose select parcels of fruit from which they produce superior examples of these juicy and thirst-quenching wines.
Vineyard
This wine is produced from grapes grown on stoney clay-limestone soils. The Grenache vines are thirty years old on average, whilst the the Syrah vines are fifteen years old.
Winery
The grapes were fully destemmed, before undergoing a temperature controlled fermentation lasting ten to twelve days, with daily pumping over.
