About Paola C
Paola C. was founded through the collaboration between Paola Coin and Aldo Cibic, who began designing home objects in 2000, aiming to create pieces that foster human connection.
Paola C.’s vision transcends conventional design, offering a timeless elegance that defies trends. The collection is characterized by its intense and refined simplicity, often marked by a harmonious touch of imperfection. Each Paola C. object is both simple and unique, inviting spontaneous and unconventional use, and embodying a blend of elegance and individuality.
Starting in 2014, Paola C. introduced the Stories format to its Collection: a series of short stories by individual designers who interpret the brand’s values. The first story, “A New Roman” by Jaime Hayon, was followed by “Table Joy” by Aldo Cibic, “Dolce Vita” by Cristina Celestino, “Lunar Landscape” by Elisa Ossino, and “Coquille” by Chiara Andreatti.
After nineteen years of serving as Artistic Director and contributing significantly to Paola C.’s success with his creations, Aldo Cibic has transitioned to the role of Creative & Cultural Advisor. In this capacity, he supports the brand by overseeing creative activities and promoting its international presence.
