Producer
Minius Godello is produced by winemaker Alvaro Bueno at Adegas Ladairo in the south of Galicia close to the border with Portugal. Ladairo is the Gallego word for the gentle slopes between hilltop and river.
Vineyard
This Godello comes from the red clay and granitic sandy vineyards of this twenty-hectare property. The vines are thirty years old, and were hand-harvested in the middle of September.
Winery
Before crushing, the grapes underwent four hours cold maceration at 10ºC, then fermented in stainless steel at 16.5ºC. The wine matured for a brief period on its lees before a very light filtration to retain as much textural richness as possible then bottling.
