Producer
Via Nostrum refers to the Via Domitia, the ancient Roman road which intersected what are now several wine appellations in the Languedoc, including Corbières, and helped popularise these wines throughout the Roman Empire.
Vineyard
The vineyards for this wine are located near Thézan-des-Corbières, facing the Pinada limestone massif. Here the terrain is hilly with marl,sandstone and limestone soils.
Winery
The grapes were pressed and then fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks with twice-daily pumpovers, with a three-to-fourweek maceration in total. After malolactic fermentation, 20% of the wine was matured for one year in second-fill French oak barrels.
