Producer
Château La Plaige has been in the Naud family for five generations and since 2000, Frédéric Naud and his wife Lise have been managing the vineyard with passion and respect for the family’s winemaking tradition.
Vineyard
The estate sits on a hillside overlooking the Dordogne river on the eastern edge of the Bordeaux appellation, on a combination of clay and limestone soils.
Winery
The wine was fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at 25-30°C, with a post-fermentation maceration. It underwent malolactic fermentation in tank, before being passed to cement tanks for a further eighteen months’ ageing.
