Producer
: Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is one of Pauillac’s most respected estates, classified Fifth Growth in 1855 and known for producing exceptionally consistent, classical Bordeaux with great longevity. Its reputation rests on purity of fruit, precision and a strong expression of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vineyard
The 90-hectare property is planted on deep gravel outcrops typical of Pauillac, providing excellent drainage and ideal ripening conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Old vines and meticulous vineyard management ensure concentration, complexity and structure.
Winery
Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled vats, followed by ageing in French oak barrels, a significant proportion of which are new. The winemaking philosophy emphasises finesse, purity and clear expression of terroir, resulting in wines of balance, depth and impressive ageing potential.
