Producer
Château d’Aigueville is an historic Rhône estate with a legacy of producing classic, fruit-forward wines from the southern part of the appellation. Now modernised, the estate focuses on sustainable viticulture, density-controlled plantings and artisanal winemaking aimed at delivering value-driven yet high-quality Rhône blends.
Vineyard
The estate’s vineyards lie on terraces of clay, limestone and pebbles typical of the southern Rhône. These soils store heat and promote ripeness while retaining enough moisture to support the vines during summer droughts. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre dominate plantings, benefiting from Mediterranean sunshine and the cleansing Mistral wind. Old vines contribute depth and concentration.
Winery
Grapes are harvested parcel-by-parcel and fermented in temperature-controlled tanks. Gentle extraction avoids harsh tannins, while ageing in concrete and older oak allows the blend to harmonise without overt oak influence. The resulting wine is expressive, spicy and balanced, showcasing the warmth and charm of the region.
