Producer

Château Bellegrave is located in the south of the commune of Pauillac, between some of the greatest châteaux: Latour, Pichon-Longueville and Lynch-Bages. It has been owned since 1997 by J-P Meffre, who also owns Châteaux Lalande and du Glana.

Vineyard

The vineyard consists of eight hectares averaging twenty-five years old, situated on typical gravel soil. The grapes were harvested by hand in small crates at optimum ripeness, between September 23rd and October 7th.

Winery

Traditional wine making procedures were followed with daily pumpovers and temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged for twelve months in French oak barrels with forty-seven percent new wood.
