Datterini Tomatoes, 500g

Datterini means “little dates”, and it’s exactly because of their elongated shape and really sweet flavour that these tomatoes got this name. Grown in sunny Southern Italy, these red Datterini tomatoes are extraordinary delighful when eaten fresh and raw, ideally in salads and on bruschette. They also make a wonderful tomato sauce: simply cook them with a couple basil leaves and enjoy a savoury pasta dish!
