Late Bottled Vintage port
Ferreira’s LBV spends four to six years in cask and comes out richer and more concentrated than a ruby, with real grip. It is the bottle to open with the chocolate eggs – port and dark chocolate is one of those pairings that sounds obvious the moment you try it.
Who makes it
Most of what is in this hamper we import ourselves. Hedene press their honeys and make confitures sweetened with honey rather than sugar. Charles Antona has made Corsican jams and canistrelli to PDO rules for four generations. Conservas Virto bottle in Navarra, Novi and DiSanto bake in Italy, Bennetto make single-origin chocolate, and The Chocolate Detective hand-finish their speckled eggs. Packing and delivery
We pack this hamper in a 14-inch wicker hamper finished with raffia. Cheese and charcuterie travel chilled and keep well on arrival. We deliver across mainland UK and can send straight to the recipient with a handwritten card. See the rest of the range on our sweet hampers page.
Serving suggestion
Open the chocolate last, and take it out of the fridge well before you do – cold chocolate tastes of very little. Honey and confiture are better at room temperature too. If there is a dessert wine, pour it small and cold, and put the dark chocolate beside it rather than the milk. Biscuits keep best in their own packaging rather than a tin, and an opened jar of confiture will sit happily in the fridge for a month.
Stylish Packaging Your selection is hand-packed with care and cushioned in shredded, coloured recycled paper for a striking, sustainable presentation. Whether in one of our signature gift boxes or a natural wicker hamper, it arrives beautifully finished and ready to gift.Corporate Hampers & Gifts
