The oldest board there is
Camembert, saucisson and cornichons is the oldest charcuterie board in France, and it needs nothing else to work. We have added a bottle of Acetaia Castelli balsamic vinegar of Modena and a tin of Bom Petisco sardines in extra virgin olive oil, so the smallest hamper we build still crosses four countries rather than one.
Four countries, one table
We import most of what is in this hamper ourselves, direct from the producers: Charles Antona in Corsica, Clos Saint Sozy in the Lot, Hedene honey, Acetaia Castelli in Modena, Cirulli and D’Olia olive oil, La Cerqua truffles in Umbria, Donna Itriya pasta in Puglia, Conservas Virto in Navarra and Ecoleus in Rioja. Buying direct is why a hamper like this can carry PDO and DOP products at this price. You can read how those protected designations work at the European Commission.
Packing and delivery
We pack this hamper in a small matte-black gift box with a printed ivory-cream sleeve. Cheese and charcuterie travel chilled and keep well on arrival. We deliver across mainland UK and can send straight to the recipient with a handwritten card. See the rest of the range on our European food hampers page.
Serving suggestion
Bring the cheese out of the fridge half an hour before you serve it and cut it open rather than slicing it thin. Fan the cured meat on a board. Leave the conservas in their tins, which is how they are eaten across southern Europe. Keep the sweet things apart from the cheese, except the quince paste, which belongs with it.
Stylish Packaging Your selection is hand-packed with care and cushioned in shredded, coloured recycled paper for a striking, sustainable presentation. Whether in one of our signature gift boxes or a natural wicker hamper, it arrives beautifully finished and ready to gift.Corporate Hampers & Gifts
