Salchicon Bellota is produced by using Iberico pigs, which are 100% pure bread. They are raised in the Dehesa by Castro y Gonzalez of Guijeuelo, feeding on naturally fallen acorns, woodland grasses and mushrooms. It has a milder flavour than Picante chorizos, and have a much more sweet, soft and delicate texture. A perfect pairing with sliced Jamon or an addition to your charcuterie platter.

Traditional breed of the domestic pig that is native to the Iberian Peninsula. This traditional breed exhibits a good appetite and propensity to obesity, including a great capacity to accumulate intramuscular and epidermal fat. The high intramuscular fat is what produces the typical marbling; this, together with traditional feeding based on acorns, is what makes its ham taste so special.
